Brand[AID] is our yearly philanthropic effort to support a local nonprofit. Spanning months, [CP]2 members work together to select an organization, define their needs and provide the deliverables they need to thrive.

Apply for Brand[AID] 2018

Are you part of a local nonprofit looking to refresh your brand? Or do you know a nonprofit whose marketing could use some help?

[CP]2 is looking forward to hosting our third annual Brand[Aid] in June and helping guide another local nonprofit through a rebrand.

But first, we need a client.

Interested nonprofits are encouraged to apply by answering a few basic questions about your nonprofit’s current branding and marketing.

In addition to the application, a short video appeal is strongly encouraged so we can see your enthusiasm and put a face with the name!

While the whole process takes several months of collaboration, Brand[Aid] centers around a massive work session on Saturday, June 30, when dozens of us come together for a day of brainstorming and designing.

Deadline to apply is April 13. The top candidates will be interviewed and the chosen nonprofit will be announced on May 19 during the Bracket Awards.

  • May 19 – Nonprofit selected and announced at Bracket Awards Gala
  • Early June – Discovery and upfront design work
  • June 30 – Brand[Aid] event to brainstorm and begin work on deliverables
  • July-September – Complete deliverables
  • September – “The Big Reveal” when we unveil the nonprofit’s new brand

Past Brand[Aid] Events

Last year, [CP]2 worked with Taproot Kitchen to update its logo, website, messaging, marketing materials and fundraising strategy. The nonprofit integrates young adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities into the community by teaching culinary skills and hosting dinners for the public.

It was selected out of 20 applicants to receive a free marketing and brand refresh last summer by [CP]2 members. In its first year, [CP]2 worked with Housing Transitions.
