Central Pennsylvania Creative Professionals -- Education + Networking + Philanthropy + Awards
Brand[AID] is our yearly philanthropic effort to support a local nonprofit. Spanning months, [CP]2 volunteers help select an organization, define their needs, revamp their brand and support their marketing efforts.

Brand[AID]

Each year, [CP]2 partners with a local nonprofit in need of a brand refresh. While the process takes several months of collaboration, Brand[AID] centers around a massive work session, when dozens of volunteer marketing and design professionals come together for a weekend of work.

This year, [CP]2 is working with Interfaith Human Services to update its logo, website, messaging, marketing materials and much more. The “big reveal” will be in September. Stay tuned for details.

In previous years, we worked with Mid-State Literacy Council, Taproot Kitchen and Housing Transitions.

How to Apply

Are you part of a local nonprofit looking to refresh your brand? Or do you know a nonprofit whose marketing could use some help?

Past Brand[AID] recipients have benefited from a wide array of services and creative deliverables, the bulk of which is centered around a new brand. It is preferred that you are open to reconsidering your entire organizational brand and willing to work with us on materials that might include:

  • Logo
  • Website
  • Digital Assets (social media and newsletter templates)
  • Business Suite (business cards, stationery)
  • Collateral and Promotional Items (brochures, signage, handouts, etc.)

Interested nonprofits are encouraged to apply when applications open in early March.

Schedule

Our typical schedule goes something like this:

  • Early March – Brand[AID] application open
  • April – Deadline for nonprofits to apply
  • May – Nonprofit selected
  • Early June – Discovery and upfront design work
  • Late June – Brand[AID] workday to brainstorm and begin work on deliverables
  • July-September – Complete deliverables
  • September – “The Big Reveal” when we unveil the nonprofit’s refreshed brand
